The 401: One horsepower and The 801: Two horsepower
Both the 401 and 801 travel fold as shown below on the left and are powered by an integrated lithium- manganese high powered battery which is included in the price. The travel series are ideal for sailboats when motoring in and out of the harbour or for those days when the wind just dies off. All prices in Canadian dollars exclusive of taxes and shipping. How fast and how far?
As a general rule, the slower you go, the farther you go as the Torqueedo draws much less power from the batteries at slow speeds. A small fishing boat or canoe will obviously go faster than a large sailboat. Below are some general guidelines based on testing done various types of boats. These examples are approximations and your results will vary.
